Well I suspect the range of food has more to do with Thomson's influence on providing what they believe their customers want so here goes. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. Our room in the hotel was a superior double, well worth the extra money, floor to ceiling windows all along one wall giving a fantastic view of the beach and sea, balcony to one end overlooking the pool and down to the harbour. But to be fair, onions, cucumber, tomatoes were all freshly prepared.After four evenings we gave up on the buffet and ate in local places such as El Choco just around the corner.In general the hotel food was not very warm - again not a problem because a microwave was provided - it's a common complaint about buffet food.The coffee available at breakfast was absolutely the worst ever tasted from a machine. We say this every year - but the hotel really needs to open the downstairs entertainment room when the hotel is fuller - we heard the usual comments from people who just wanted to chat or do a bit of ballroom dancing, and as such were not interested in the cabaret acts that were on, and other people who wanted to watch the cabaret acts and were distracted by people chatting.
